Sorry For Taking So Long

Ok sorry for not writing sooner. I have had so much on my plate. Softball, homework, class, sleeping. So now im writing. Lets go back and talk about the second half of the weekend. On Sunday we played 2 games lost the first but won the second. I played pretty well and went 3 for 6, thank god. The second Game I pitched and let me tell you it was miserable! It was like 27 degrees and then on top of that it started to rain and pitching in the rain when you can't keep your hand dry and keep your fingers warm sucks sooo much its ridiculous! anyways im back and my injury, to me, is no longer present! lets do this

Ok so now we go on. Today I watched One Bird Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest with Jack Nicholson. It was pretty awesome! Jack Nicholson creeps me out though and did a fabulous job in this movie! and I had no idea that the kid who Plays Billy is the Lord of the Rings! wow crazy stuff man!!!!

And now I have grwon to a fascination of 13 the musical. It didnt last very long on broadway but the music i think for the show is very good. It really relates to the way teenagers feel at that age! I mean I know I certainly did. 13 was such an awkward age because you were in limbo. you were almost a teenage becoming cooler and more "mature" and then entering high school. oh boy all those hormones flowing. it was totally something i dont think i would want to repeat. lol

Now on to more things, games on Wednesday against Army! Im ready to kick some but... Ill post later in the week!

The Past Couple Days

Lion King
So that was an awesome show! I had so much fun with my roommate and her sister! we were able to go around the city before hand and that was a lot of fun. Then we got to the heater and Mufasa's head was suspended over the stairs it was beautiful! My favorite song was amazing and gave me chills witch totally means it was brilliant! Then I scummed to buying the album, it called to me so naturally I bought it.
Pennsylvania
This weekend my team and I went to PA to play some softball but we fell short. It wasn't the best day but I think we can get it going tomorrow and take out all our energy and woop some St. Francis butt!! :) talk later

Lion King

So today is the day I see the Lion King for the first time on Broadway. I am very excited! but first I have a lot to do today. I have a research in communication class test today and I'm a little worried but I did a study guide so I'm not too concerned. After that I have to go straight to practice and see how my ankle is holding up. Hopefully it will be ok. I had to bike today for conditioning and it was a little uncomfortable but not too bad. So right after practice I have to jet off to the bus so I can make my Lion King show! I'm so excited! Whats even better is that my roommate and her sister are coming with so that we can all have a great time at the show!
on a different note I am a little obsessive about Glee an I was looking on Chris Colfer's twitter and there was a Glee gallery with pictures of new cast members and guess what Jonathon Groff had a picture he was smokin! ok I will let you know how wonderful the production and my test went. bye :)

whats going on

so recently I was in florida for spring break and well it seems that florida is not a good fix for me because i sprained my ankle! so now im trying to re-cooperate from it but of course there are always complications. I asked the trainers today if they could tape it for me for extra support but of course what do they say ummmmm so ill get you something else anything but taping up that ankle. i mean i thought the point was to try and keep me healthy and if they wanted me to be healthy they would tape my ankle!
lame so anyways i am seeing the Lion King tomorrow I cant wait! its gonna be awesome so listen to this awesome song, He Lives In You: here are the lyrics

Ingonyama nengw' enamabala [Here is a lion and a tiger]

Night
And the spirit of life
Calling

Oh, oh, iyo
Mamela [Listen]
Oh, oh, iyo

And a voice
With the fear of a child
Answers

Oh, oh, iyo
Oh, mamela [Listen]
Oh, oh, iyo

Ubukhosi bo khokho [Throne of the ancestors]
We ndodana ye sizwe sonke [Oh, son of the nation)]

Wait
There's no mountain too great
Oh, oh, iyo
Hear the words and have faith
Oh, oh, iyo
Have faith

Hela hey mamela [Hey, listen]

(Chorus)
He lives in you
He lives in me
He watches over
Everything we see
Into the water
Into the truth
In your reflection
He lives in you

Ingonyama nengw' enamabala [Here is a lion and a tiger]

Hello

Hey My name is Cait. If you read this you will basically be knowing what goes on in my head and what is going on in my life. Follow this and you will be able to find out how my softball games went and what Broadway show I attended recently, or my personal favorite just what I feel like letting out. Ok so some information about me. I am a college student that goes to school in New Jersey. I am originally from Southern California but I decided to attend a university that would be outside of my comfort zone. It turns out it was a huge step outside my comfort zone. I play Division one softball and I'm a pitcher so naturally I'm a little intense. I love to travel and see new things. My favorite Country at this point in time is England. It is full of vibrant people and culture and I love it! I love to read and watch movies. I'm a big story person so when I read something or watch it I et sucked in. My favorite book series is Harry Potter and I love East of Eden and The Lord of the Flies. My favorite movies are Gladiator, Patriot, Slumdog Millionaire, and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. My favorite actress is Kate Winslet and my favorite actor is Sean Penn. So if you follow this blog I will be writing about New Jersey and softball and my soon to be Study Abroad trip. I will also let you know how certain books and movies are and I will be seeing lots of theater. SO stay tuned to find out whats going on in my life!
much love
